Image Guidelines
Hibu Digital Image Guidelines
Please make sure that any photographs, images, logos, graphics, text and other content that were supplied by you are owned by your business or that you otherwise have a license or other legal right to use and display such content in the digital marketing created for your business. Unless you tell us otherwise, we’ll assume that you own the content or that you otherwise have the right to use it in your Hibu digital marketing.
To make sure we’re able to use as many of your pictures as possible on your previews, please take a minute to look at our image quality guidelines below.
Hibu Websites
- Minimum image size is 300w x 180h pixels
- Minimum image size for slider / slideshow* area is 2560w x 1600h pixels
- Minimum image size for photo galleries is 600w x 350h pixels
- All images must be supplied as PNG, JPG/JPEG or GIF files at a minimum resolution of 72ppi (pixels per inch) and cannot be larger than 7MB
- Animated GIFs cannot be used
- All supplied images are automatically optimized for the Web
- Images that don’t meet the minimum requirements above will be replaced with relevant stock images until you can provide other images that meet those requirements
*Sliders / slideshows are only available on Hibu Standard and Hibu Pro Websites
Hibu Social and Hibu Listings
- Google
- Profile / Logo minimum image size is 280w x 280h pixels
- Cover minimum image size is 1080w x 608h pixels
- Facebook
- Profile / Logo minimum image size is 300w x 300h pixels
- Cover minimum image size is 851w x 315h pixels
- Twitter
- Profile / Logo minimum image size is 300w x 300h pixels
- Cover minimum image size is 1500w x 500h pixels
- Additional images (max of 10) minimum image size is 1200w x 628h pixels
- All images must be supplied as PNG, JPG or JPEG files
